Petition to President Obama

Dear Mr. President:

Abortion is not health care and does not belong in health care reform. Over 70% of the American people oppose taxpayer-funded abortion. U.S. taxpayers should be clearly protected in law from being forced to pay for something they overwhelmingly oppose.

I urge you to veto any bill that does not specifically forbid mandating insurance companies to cover abortion. Likewise, I urge you to veto any bill that could make taxpayers responsible for directly or indirectly paying for abortion.
